The RED-E-DUCT precast duct bank system utilizes Straight, standard precast sections that are  9.6ft (116in.) long, with conduit configurations that range from one high by two wide conduits (1HX 2W) up to five high by five wide conduits (5HX 5W) per section.

Section Lengths: 116″

Conduit Types: Schedule 40 or Type Precast EB

Conduit Size: 4″ or 6″

Joint Types: Gasketed or Slip Fit

Stack Or Side By Side

Straight standard configurations may be used in combination (single, side-by-side, and/or stacked), allowing for the design and installation of the most complex duct bank systems.

Joint Types

RED-E-DUCT sections offer multiple joint types to support any project requirement.  

Gasketed Joint

Watertight in accordance with NEMA TC-2 Section 5.4 suitable for projects where water infiltration is a concern.

Slip Fit Non-Gasketed

Concrete tight joint suitable for use with submerged rated cable or in duct banks where water infiltration is not a concern.

Conduit Materials

The conduits in RED-E-DUCT are built to the highest industry standards. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) conduits are manufactured to comply with NEMA and UL standards.

Applicable Standards:
  1. NEMA TC-2, TC-6, TC-8 Electrical Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Tubing and Conduit
  2. UL 651 Standard for Schedule 40,Type EB and PVC Conduit and Fittings

conjunction with cast-in-place duct bank to significantly reduce
construction time. Speed of installation reduced the impact to

RED-E-DUCT Precast Duct Bank was utilized to reduce overall site construction time. A crew of four was able to install 60 feet of linear duct bank per hour. Horizontal and vertical runs were installed, including precast Stub-Ups containing rigid galvanized conduits.
